100% of standard ground freight costs may be deducted from the invoice for contiguous, continental US destinations if the partner distributer maintains our highest discount of 10% OFF Dealer Net by maintaining at lease 5 fixtures on display and 30 net invoice payment terms being payed on time. Freight may also be deducted if the partner distributors purchase order is greater than or equal to $1500.00 net and if 30-day net invoice payment terms are payed on time. Contact your local sales rep to inquire about discounts and display programs.
Notice: MFC will endeavor to meet a client’s request to ship on his own carrier’s 3rd party shipping account, however if such a request is not met for whatever reason, the client is NOT absolved from payment of our incurred shipping costs. Duties and taxes for international shipments are always the responsibility of the client unless already agreed upon between the parties.
LIMITED LIFETIME WARRENTY
MFC warranties its products to the original user against defects in workmanship or materials under normal use for: Motors: Lifetime of original purchaser/consumer, Component Parts (lights, finish, blades etc.): One year from date of purchase. Any part, which is determined by MFC to be defective in material or workmanship and returned to an authorized service location designated by MFC, shipping costs prepaid, will be as the exclusive remedy, repaired or replaced at MFC’s option providing that proof of purchase is provided. Your warranty rights will be honored only when the product has been installed and used properly. Warranty does not cover repair or replacement of products damaged by improper use or faulty installation. MFC assumes NO liability for labor or installation costs or other losses. Further warranty information is found in installation instructions.
Shipping Damage
Report shipping damage to MFC immediately. Retain damaged merchandise, packing and shipping containers until damage claim has been settled. Damage in transit is the responsibility of the carrier. This procedure must be followed or repair/credit/replacement for the damaged goods cannot be given.
Remorse Returns
Contact MFC for authorization to return remorse goods at 1-847-680-9043 or at rga@matthewsfanco.com. No remorse returns will be accepted without Returned Goods Authorization or “RGA” number. Goods returned for credit or exchange in pristine, re-sellable condition in original boxes and packing materials will not incur any restocking fees for remorse returns under $100.00 NET. Remorse returns over $100.00 NET will incur a 25% restocking fee or can be exchanged one for one. Freight for the returned item must be pre-paid. If the original order was shipped “free freight” the outbound freight must be reimbursed. Custom orders cannot be returned.
Defective Returns
Contact MFC at 1-847-680-9043 or at rga@matthewsfanco.com for authorization to return defective goods. Indicate on return request details of defect and any troubleshooting performed by either showroom representative or MFC Technical Department. Trouble shooting must be executed before requesting an “RGA”. Replacement orders for defective goods will be processed within 24 hours depending upon availability of stock. No defective returns will be accepted without Returned Goods Authorization or “RGA” number. All return cartons must withstand shipping. Any defected returns sent with out an “RGA” will be refused.
Cancellation Policy
Custom fixture orders are not cancellable once production begins. If the client demands cancellation, a cancellation fee based upon expenses incurred will be levied. Standard, non-custom fixture orders are cancellable up until the time that the fixtures are installed. If however, the fixtures have already left our warehouse and the client wishes to cancel, the order becomes a remorse return with return shipping costs the responsibility of the client. Cancellations must be acknowledged to be valid. A passively sent cancellation email sent 24 hours before the order is set to ship does not absolve the client from payment of return shipping charges if the cancellation is not recognized by MFC.
SAFTY LABORATORY LISTINGS
All ceiling and wall fans are either UL or ETL listed. All fans except the Donaire are not warranted for salt water/ocean front with saltwater nor chlorine installations. Please contact us for any warranty questions you may have. Underwriters Laboratories’ standard’s suggests that our safety cage/metal blade combination be used with our fans when mounted in rooms with ceiling heights of less than 10.0 Ft. In the U.S., if safety cages are used, our fans can be mounted on ceilings or walls with ceiling heights as low as 7.0 Ft. In Canada, if safety cages are used, our fans can be mounted on ceilings or walls with ceiling heights as low as 8.3 Ft/2.5 M.
